We demand UofSC pay its workers a living wage! We call on the university to increase its minimum wage to $15 an hour. We also call for a 15% increase in base stipends for graduate student workers.

All workers deserve a living wage and we’re taking our message directly to the SC state legislature! 

The press conference will be held in the State House lobby at 11:00 am.

On March 29, 2022, campus workers came together alongside community supporters and State Representatives to speak out in support of a $15/hr minimum wage for all workers on campus, and a 15% increase in grad student stipends at the University of South Carolina.

In the spring of 2021, we won a major victory by securing fully-subsidized health insurance plans from the University for our graduate student workers.
